SENIOR ACCOUNTS MANAGER

Matt is a senior accounts manager with over 15 years of experience in customer relations and sales for a variety of businesses and products. With a background in science and technology, Matt has a keen eye for technical challenges, and a solutions-based approach to problem solving. Passionate about all things adventure, Matt loves to enjoy the mountains: climbing, hiking, biking, skiing, or camping, he can be found outside any time of year. He is committed to creating long-term relationships with all clients and is happy to help with any project of any size.

Gary is a highly skilled and experienced drapery lead with over 40 years of expertise in the field. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Gary has a proven track record of delivering exceptional results in the drapery industry. With his extensive experience, Gary possesses an unparalleled understanding of drapery design, fabrication, and installation. As the Drapery and Upholstery lead, Hannah and Gary bring a wealth of experience to oversee the entire lifecycle of drapery production. Though her journey in the world of textiles and design had just started, her enthusiasm for learning and commitment to excellence makes her an eager contributor to the creative process of the intricate understanding of fabrics, patterns, and the meticulous process of transforming ideas into tangible, elegant window treatments.

Nicole's commitment to customer service and understanding the process from start to finish makes her an exceptional General Manager for the Edmonton location. With a Bachelor Degree in Communication from Mount Royal University, she has a people-forward approach that helps tailor her recommendations for every client from Sonata's broad product mix.

Having opened the Edmonton location in 2018, Nicole has amassed a large network of partnerships, developed operational efficiency & vast technical knowledge while never losing focus on what she cares about most - helping people find the ideal solution for their space. SALES/DESIGN MAESTRO RED DEER

Meet Tammy, a seasoned interior decorator with a passion for transforming spaces into stunning havens. Her journey began in 2008 when she founded Stage to Sell Interior Decorating, where she honed her craft and knack for creating visually captivating environments.

In 2013, Tammy and her husband bought, built and eventually sold a window covering franchise that served East Central Alberta. This experience deepened her appreciation for the intricacies of window treatments and solidified her expertise in the residential and commercial field.

Now based in Red Deer, Tammy has returned to her passion for window coverings and all things interior.

SALES/DESIGN MAESTRO VANCOUVER

Amanda was Born and raised in Mission BC, she has been in customer service for 10+ years.

Amanda just recently obtained her Interior Design Diploma from VCAD in June of 2023 I am pleased to say that I am new to the industry and have many ideas moving forward.

I have an interest in Tiny Homes, as well as recycling materials, and using more eco-friendly & self-sustainable materials. Recently I purchased a Mobile home and am in the process of revamping it into a self-sustainable and energy efficient home. Live by example right?

In my spare time, I am usually outside reading, gaming with my hubby on our meta quests, or dancing.

Sina has a knack for linking designers, architects, builders and others from the industry with the right resources, she makes navigating projects a breeze. Whether it's sourcing top-notch products or offering guidance every step of the way, you can count on her to elevate your success. She loves going to the beach and boating with her dog. They both love the sun and water. She does like going for hikes too with Iva. With years of experience, she is your go-to person when it comes to seamless connections and expert support.

Administrative Assistant

Katelyn is an Administrative Assistant with years of experience in customer service. Known for her attention to detail, she has a proven track record of achievements.Katelyn has been a member of the Sonata Team since September 2022. When Katelyn is not working, you can find her spending time with her friends and family being a doting Aunt to her nephew, or playing her Xbox 360.

Travis is a Technical Lead with 4 years of experience in Motorization and integration. Known for his work ethic, ability to complete projects on time and on budget, He has a proven track record of achievements. Passionate about golf, He strives to deliver exceptional customer service and is passionate about all things tech. Travis is committed to delivering quality/innovative solutions to clients/customers.

LEAD ESTIMATOR

Julian is an experienced lead estimator with a passion for all things related to estimating. With over ten years of experience in the field, Julian is known for his attention to detail and ability to provide accurate estimates for even the most complex projects. His expertise in “commercial analysis” has led to many successful projects and satisfied clients. When not working, Julian enjoys exploring his geeky interests and keeping up with the latest trends in technology. With a commitment to delivering high-quality estimates and exceptional customer service, Julian strives to exceed expectations in all aspects of his work.

COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANAGER/HSR

Lydia is the Commercial Account Manager and Health & Safety Representative. With over eight years of experience in account management and over 16 years of experience in customer service. Known for her organization and communication skills, she has a proven track record of completing projects and maintaining customer relationships, as well as keeping us all safe! Lydia is committed to delivering quality and solutions to our clients.

COMMERCIAL ADMIN

Apple is an Administrative Assistant with 7 years of experience in project management and administration. She is known for her attention to detail, customer service excellence, and successful project delivery. Apple recently completed a Professional Certificate in Project Management and will finish a Supply Chain Management program in 2025. Outside of work, she has a passion for discovering new coffee shops around the city and is always seeking the next outstanding brew.

PROJECT COORDINATOR

Brandi Menin has extensive experience in customer service and project coordination. After recently finishing her designation in Project Management she is excited to start putting those skills to work as our Project Coordinator to support Sonata Design's internal growth by putting new systems and procedures in place. Brandi is extremely organized and has mastered the true meaning of customer satisfaction, allowing her to build and maintain strong relationships with our clients. When outside of the office, she enjoys playing a number of sports, keeping active, and cuddling up next to her pupper, Rori!

WARRANTY AND SERVICE COORDINATOR

Mandy is our warranty and service coordinator. She strives to make sure our customers receive the best customer service Sonata has to offer. Ultimatley Mandy ensures that all Sonata customers receive a million dollar presentation. She actively listens to customers' concerns, patiently guiding them through the resolution process with clear explanations and unwavering empathy. Her ability to empathize and translate technical jargon into understandable terms helps build trust and alleviate anxieties, ultimately fostering loyalty to the Sonata brand.

Joshua has a strong foundation in logistics and inventory management, boasting over a decade of hands-on experience in the field. He brings extensive expertise in coordinating the seamless flow of goods and material and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of shipping and receiving.

WAREHOUSE

Hello, my name is Justin and I'm the warehouse/shipping receiver for Sonata Design with 2 years of experience with Sonata Design. I help the company by managing inventory, keeping the warehouse in order, receive shipments from suppliers, and help the contractors and/or customers load there vehicles, I have 9 years of experience operating various types of machinery and equipment EX: Power tools, Saws, Forklifts and Pallet Jacks. I am committed to ensuring a safe and organized work environment, and take pride in representing Sonata Design to the fullest.

MARKETING MAESTRO

Christopher is a dedicated Marketing Manager with 5 years of experience in the field. His expertise lies in developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and achieve measurable results. Known for his creative thinking, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills, Christopher has consistently delivered successful marketing initiatives throughout his career.

Outside of work, Christopher finds joy in his passion for baseball and exploring new destinations. His love for baseball fuels his competitive spirit.

Laurie is an experienced video production specialist. He has a passion for storytelling and delivering compelling digital content. With years of experience in camera work, lighting, and video editing, Laurie strives to deliver visuals that tell the Sonata story and elevate our customer experience. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Film Studies Degree, a Film and Video Production Diploma, and a Marketing Certificate. Josef is a dedicated accountant and accounts payable specialist with three years of experience.
